Open-air museum open to the public since the mid-1980s. It collects architectural monuments from the area of the former Duchy of Łowicz. Currently, there are nearly 40 objects on its territory, which are located according to the plan assuming the presentation of two spatial systems, i.e. an old village existing until the mid-nineteenth century, similar in shape to an oval with a central village square, and a new village called streetvane, widespread in the second half of the nineteenth century. According to these assumptions, there were farms that include residential and livestock buildings. In their interiors, furnishings and decorations from Lowicz are presented. In addition, the open-air museum runs a wide range of occasional events, including the provision of a church for religious ceremonies, an offer of an artistic setting performed by a folk group, the provision of a cottage or barn for refreshments for guests, and organizes bakery workshops, thematic concerts.
