It was built in the 17th century by Tylman of Gameren for the primate Michał Radziejowski. In the second half of the 18th century it became the property of the Radziwiłł family, who lived in it until the end of World War II, then the residence was taken over by the state. Currently, the palace belongs to the Museum in Nieborów and Arkadia, which was established in 1945. In addition to the palace, it includes a garden in Nieborów and the Romantic Garden of Helena Radziwiłł in Arkadia. Is the seat of the museum of the interior of the palace residence from the 17th-19th centuries, based on the surviving furnishings of the palace and its collections (sculpture, paintings, graphics, furniture, bronze, porcelain and glass, silverware, clocks, fabrics, library collections), complemented by art and craft objects artistic from the collection of the National Museum in Warsaw.
