Address: Opacka 13 , Sulejów
The Cistercian Abbey in Sulejów is located in the Łódź Province. It is a work of art and represents the Romanesque style. The most important monuments located here are: Church of St. Of Tomasz Kantuaryjskiego. Construction of this building was completed in 1232. The church is in almost identical condition as at the beginning of its functioning. Despite the passage of hundreds of years, it is still just as presentable. Inside, we can find ornaments that come from Baroque and Rococo. The second object worth seeing is the Monastery. Unfortunately, it is not as well preserved as the church. There is a museum in the left wing. It is worth visiting here if only to see the chapter house and Gothic cloisters. The other wings of the monastery are unfortunately ruins and are not open to the public.
