The historic EC1 power plant houses the most modern planetarium in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. It is equipped with a spherical screen with a diameter of 14 meters and a resolution of 8 k (over 32 million pixels, i.e. image quality eight times higher than HD quality). The screen is located under a dome with a diameter of 18 m, 110 comfortable armchairs are waiting for guests. The shows are to cover the development of astronautics, history, present and future of space exploration, the development of civilizations and inventions prepared appropriately for different age groups. It is worth adding that the Planetarium EC1 won in the National Geographic Traveler ranking for the 7 new wonders of Poland in 2016.
