The Bolimów Landscape Park covers the complex of forests of the Bolimów Forest, stretching between Skierniewice, Łowicz, Bolimów and Żyrardów. These forests are the last remnant of the historical forests of Bolimowska, Wiskicka, Miedniewicka, Korabiewska and Jaktorowska and constitute a valuable natural enclave among deforested agricultural areas. The Rawka River flows through the center of the Forest, which has retained the natural character of a strongly meandering lowland river, and its valley is an important ecological corridor and is protected. About 70% of the Park area is covered by forests. In the Bolimowska Forest, different types of pine forests predominate, mainly fresh, moist, dry and mixed.
